A drug-addled black bear goes on a vicious rampage in a new trailer for what is expected to be 2023’s “wildest” film.
Directed by US actress Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear is loosely based on the events of a 1985 drug-smuggling operation that went wrong.
The video shows officials sent into a northern Georgian forest, to retrieve a duffel bag of cocaine thrown out of an aeroplane.
Unfortunately for them, the drugs were found and ingested by a 175lb bear.
In subsequent violent scenes, the bear is shown going berserk, chasing people up trees and down highways.
The film stars Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
It also features Ray Liotta and was one of the actor’s last on-screen appearances before his death earlier this year.
The film is due for release on February 24, 2023.
