The Ayrshire rock group will return to the stage for the first time in four years.

Biffy Clyro are set to play two arena shows in Scotland after the band announced their first UK tour in four years.

The Ayrshire rock group have released seven studio albums, four of which reached the top five in the UK album charts, with Opposites claiming their first UK number one in 2013.

Following the announcement of their new album A Celebration of Endings, the band will play the P and J Arena in Aberdeen on September 25 and The SSE Hydro in Glasgow on September 26 later this year.

The three-piece will also play to crowds of 20,000 in venues in London and Manchester as part of the tour.

Fans who pre-order their new album by 4pm on March 16 will receive exclusive pre-sale for tour tickets.

The pre-sale will open at 10am on March 18 and will remain open until tickets go on general sale from 10am on March 20 on Live Nation.
