The upcoming Batgirl movie, which was filmed entirely in Glasgow, has reportedly been shelved following poor test screening results.
The DC film, which was set to star Michael Keaton, Brendan Fraser, JK Simmons and Leslie Grace, reportedly cost an estimated £57.6m.
Following poorly received test screenings Warner Bros decided to cancel the release of the production, as reported by US publication The New York Post.
Filming of the blockbuster, which was set for a 2022 release on the HBO Max streaming service, saw parts of Glasgow transformed into Gotham City for the multi-million pound production.
Set designers could be seen building a Christmas market in the Trongate area of the city as festive decorations were hung in shop windows.
Several cast and crew members, including Leslie Grace and Ethan Kai, as well as Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, were pictured filming in Glasgow.
The movie was set to focus on Barbara Gordon, played by Grace, the daughter of Gotham police commissioner Jim Gordon.
DC and Warner Bros have been contacted for comment.
