Barbara Dickson will hit the road next year as part of an extensive UK-wide tour.
The multi-million-selling recording artist will perform in Edinburgh and Glasgow with a full band.
The Time Is Going Faster tour will feature classic songs from Dickson’s back catalogue, as well as recent showstoppers from her extraordinary canon of music across both pop and folk.
Dickson, a two-time Olivier Award-winning actress from Dunfermline, Fife, has six platinum, 11 gold and seven silver albums.
Her latest record, Time Is Going Faster, was released in October 2020 and marked 50 years since her first solo album, Do Right Woman.
The tour’s promoters said: “After a musical odyssey of 50 years creating music, playing guitar and piano, acting, and songwriting, this tour is a culmination of her journey thus far.
“Barbara will perform a wonderful range of material, drawing on her folk roots as well as performing globally-known hits.
“It’s an evening packed with songs from one of the finest voices you will ever hear.”
Dickson will perform at The Usher Hall in Edinburgh on March 30, 2022, and then at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on March 31.
Tickets can be bought online or via the venues’ box offices.
