Woman charged for alleged 'threatening' behaviour outside primary school

A 30-year-old woman has been arrested and charged after an incident at Edinburgh's Carrick Knowe Primarry School.

A woman has been charged in connection with alleged threatening and abusive behaviour outside a primary school in Edinburgh.

It comes after a report was made to police about an incident near Edinburgh’s Carrick Knowe Primary School, in the Lampacre Road area, on Monday, April 18.

Officers confirmed that a 30-year-old woman has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

She will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following a report of threatening and abusive behaviour in the Lampacre Road area of Edinburgh on Monday, April 18, a 30-year-old woman has been arrested and charged.

“She was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on a later date.”
