Woman and four children in hospital after car crash

A woman and four children have been taken to hospital following a car crash in the Borders.

Emergency services were called after receiving reports of a one vehicle crash on Galashiels Road, Stow, at around 4.40pm on Saturday.

A 62-year-old woman was taken to Borders General Hospital for treatment, while four boys, two aged eight and two aged nine, were taken to hospital as a precaution.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on Galashiels Road, Stow around 4.40pm on Saturday April 23 2022.

“A 62-year-old woman was taken to Borders General Hospital for treatment.

“Four boys, two aged nine and two aged eight were also taken to hospital as a precaution.”
