Police inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding a nine-year-old boy who went missing over the weekend.
The schoolchild disappeared at around 7.05pm on Friday, September 9, near Rowan Street in Dunbar, East Lothian.
He was located on Saturday evening, after officers carried out door-to-door enquiries and gathered CCTV footage.
On Thursday, police confirmed that a 29-year-old woman who was arrested in connection with the incident has now been released pending further inquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding a missing nine-year-old boy from Dunbar who was traced.
“A 29-year-old woman, who was arrested, has been released pending further inquiries.”
