A victim has been taken to hospital after being assaulted and robbed in Edinburgh.
The incident occurred around 5.35pm on Saturday in George Square.
Police said enquiries were ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a report of robbery and assault that occurred at George Square, Edinburgh, around 5.35pm on Saturday, November 6.
“One person was taken to hospital following the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
