Police have been called after a van appeared to be stuck on top of graves at a cemetery in Fife.
Pictures on social media on Sunday morning showed the silver Ford in Dunfermline Cemetery parked in what seems to be a ditch in the grass.
It’s not known how the vehicle, which was surrounded by headstones, became stuck.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a van having become stuck within Dunfermline Cemetery, however, recovery has since been arranged by the owner.”
Liz Murphy, bereavement services manager at Fife Council confirmed: “This morning, the owner of the vehicle removed it.
“We’ll now assess the damage and reinstate the area as soon as possible.”
