Two XL Bully dogs have been euthanised after mauling a woman in Leith.
Emergency services were called to a property on Academy Street around 9.15am on Thursday, May 16, following reports of the attack.
A 26-year-old woman was found seriously injured and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by ambulance.
The two dogs involved were euthanised on Friday, May 17.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed investigations into the incident are ongoing.
