Two men and three women are in hospital and an arrest has been made after a two-car crash in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Queensferry Road at around 3.20am on Sunday.
Five people were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment having been injured in the collision.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crash.
Police Scotland said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Queensferry Road, Edinburgh, around 3.20am on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
“Two men and three women were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to their injuries.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident and enquiries are continuing.”
