A man and a woman have been left in hospital and a 34-year-old has been arrested following a disturbance in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Balgreen Road area of the capital at around 3.40pm on Sunday.
A 65-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Their current condition is unknown at this stage.
Officers confirmed that a 34-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.40pm on Sunday, March 26, 2023 we were called to reports of a disturbance on Balgreen Road, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a 65-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
