Two people rushed to hospital with injuries after crash outside vets

Emergency services were called to Aberdour Road, Dunfermline, at around 11.40pm on Tuesday after a two-car crash.

Two people have been left in hospital after a collision in Fife.

Police, two ambulances, specialist operations response teams and a critical care practitioner were called to Aberdour Road, in Dunfermline, at around 11.40pm on Tuesday after a crash between two cars.

It is understood the collision took place outside the Three Bridges Vets.

Following the crash, two people were taken to Victoria Hospital, in Kirkcaldy.

Their current condition is unknown.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 11.40pm on Tuesday, May 23, police were called to a report of a road crash involving two cars on Aberdour Road, Dunfermline.

“Officers attended and the vehicles were later recovered.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call to attend a road traffic collision on Aberdour Road, Dunfermline.

“Two ambulances, two specialist operations response teams and a Critical Care Practitioner were dispatched to the scene.

“Two patients were transported to the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.”
