Two men have been charged following a break-in and a “suspicious” fire in Bo’ness.

Officers were alerted to reports of two train carriages being broken into around 7am at the Railway Preservation yard on Union Street.

A small fire was also discovered and extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Police confirmed that two men, aged 32, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The men are set to appear Falkirk Sheriff Court on Friday.

Constables Jaqueline McKendry and Graeme McDougall of Bo’ness CPT thanked the public for their assistance in the case.
