Two men have been arrested after a crash involving a pedestrian pushing a pram in Edinburgh led to a woman being rushed to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the two-car collision at around 11.20am on Monday on West Port.
The 30-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital while the child was unhurt.
Officers said one of the drivers involved in the crash fled the scene but was later found.
Both men were arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on Monday we were called to a collision involving two cars and a pedestrian pushing a pram on West Port, Edinburgh.
“The pedestrian, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and released following treatment. The child was not hurt.
“One of the vehicles made off and the driver was later traced by officers.
“Both drivers, men aged 32 and 54, were arrested in connection with road traffic offences and released pending further enquiries, which are ongoing.”
