Two male youths were arrested for possessing weapons after police responded to reports of fireworks being set off in a play park in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Sighthill Play Park at around 8.10pm on Friday after receiving reports of fireworks being set off.
Officers attended, and several youths ran off toward Broomhouse Road.
Following a search of the area, two males were arrested for being in possession of offensive weapons.
No one was injured following the incident.
A Police Spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Friday, 3 November, officers attended a report of fireworks being set off in the Sighthill Play Park area of Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and several youths ran off toward Broomhouse Road. Officers searched the area and two males were arrested for being in possession of offensive weapons.
“There were no injuries or damage and enquiries are ongoing.”
