A Livingston fan who passed away earlier this month is to be remembered during the club’s upcoming game with Celtic.

The Lions will take on Brendan Rodgers men on Sunday afternoon at Almondvale with fans planning an applause in the 18th minute for season ticket holder Kieran Airns who died aged 18.

The club posted the update to X on Friday confirming the teenager, who was a season ticket holder in section C3 of the stadium, passed away on March 17.

A statement read: “We have just heard sad news of Kieran Airns passing at only 18 years old.

“Kieran was a Livingston Season Ticket holder.

“Fans plan to hold an applause in the 18th minute of Livingston vs Celtic on Sunday.

“RIP Kieran. Once a Lion, always a Lion.”
