Three charged over serious assault that left man injured

The victim was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Three men have been charged after a serious assault in Stirling.

The attack took place on Sunday, at around 9.30pm when a man was assaulted in Upper Craigs.

He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Three men, two 24-year-olds and a 23-year-old, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Two men aged 24 and one man aged 23, have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Stirling.

“The men are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday July 7 2020.

“Inquiries remain ongoing and anyone with any information surrounding the incident is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting incident number 3480 of Sunday July 5 2020.”
