A teenager was left in hospital with a leg injury after an incident at a house in Stirling.

Emergency services were called to a property in Douglas Street, at around 8.05pm on Thursday after receiving reports that a teenager was injured.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown at this stage.

An investigation has been launched into the incident and officers are conducting enquires within the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 8.05pm on Thursday, April 6, to a report of a male youth being injured at a property in Douglas Street, Stirling.

“The 17-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment. 

“Our investigation to establish the full circumstances are at an early stage and officers are carrying out enquiries in the area.

“Anyone with information that could assist with our enquiries should call 101, quoting incident number 3688 of Thursday, April 6, 2023, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
