A teenager has been arrested after a woman was raped near Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh.
Officers received reports of a 20-year-old woman being seriously sexually assaulted at around 3.45am on Monday.
Images from the scene showed police cordons in place across the capital green space on Monday morning.
Police confirmed a 19-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing.
