A teenage girl has been arrested after a trespassing incident at Edinburgh Waverly station caused all trains to be suspended.
All services to and from the station were halted Sunday, following reports of a person on the tracks at around 3.15pm.
At 4.20pm, ScotRail announced the issue had been resolved.
Police confirmed on Monday that an 18-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Officers were called to Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station at around 2.45pm, on September 10, following reports of a person on the railway tracks,” a spokesperson for the force said.
“A 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of trespass.”
