A teenager has been arrested following a search after a man was seen with a knife in a Fife town.
Police were called at around 8.55am on Wednesday to reports of a man spotted with a blade in Methil’s High Street.
Officers traced a 19-year-old to Memorial Court charged him in connection with the disturbance.
No one was injured following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.55am on Wednesday, 25 January, police were called to a report of a man seen in possession of a knife in High Street, Methil.
“Officers attended and searched the area and he was traced by officers a short time later at Memorial Court.
“A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this disturbance.
“No one was injured.”
