Taylor Swift fans descended on Murrayfield to get their hands on the popstar’s official merchandise ahead of her three shows in the city.

The merchandise truck opened at 10am on Wednesday so ‘Swifties’ were able to buy items ahead of the beginning of the Eras Tour on Friday.

The US megastar will play three nights at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday marking the beginning of the UK leg of her sell-out tour in the capital.

Fans were able to buy posters and water bottles for £15, canvas tote bags for £25, T-shirts from £40 and tour hoodies priced at £70.

One fan posted a picture of the goodies she bought on X and added: “Yeah I maybe spent too much money on Taylor Swift Merch today but… TAYLOR SWIFT MERCH!!!! Also heyyyyy i’m still alive!”

A spokesperson for Scottish Gas Murrayfield said: “Early merch days will be June 5 and 6 and open to all.

“On show days, non-ticket holders can purchase official merchandise between 10am and 1pm. After 1pm, only those with a show ticket for that specific day will be able to access merchandise.”

Edinburgh Trams also introduced the official Taylor Swift TTPD tram, which is now covered in black with the logo of her new album “The Tortured Poets Department”.
