A man has appeared in court charged with murder after the body of a man was discovered at a house in Fife.
Police were called to Erskine Wynd, in Oakley, just after 6am on Wednesday after Henry White was discovered dead at a property.
In a statement, the 57-year-old’s family said: “Henry was a deeply loved and respected member of our family. He will be much missed.
“We would ask that our privacy is respected at this time and we try to come to terms with this loss.”
Officers later confirmed a 35-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
On Friday, Christopher Brown made no plea when the single charge of murder was put to him at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and he was remanded in custody.
The case was committed for further examination and he is expected to appear in court again within the next eight days.
