Stolen motorcycles worth around £20,000 have been recovered while the hunt for the thieves continues.

The six bikes were found in the Marine Drive area, Silverknowes, in Edinburgh, at around 9.30am on Friday.

They were discovered by local Drylaw officers while out on proactive patrols.

Police are now working to reunite the vehicles with their rightful owners.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible for the thefts.”
