The search for Alice Byrne – missing since New Year – has entered its fourth week.
Ms Byrne, 28, was last seen leaving a friend’s flat on Saturday, January 1.
She was spotted leaving the flat, on Portobello’s Marlborough Street in Edinburgh, between 8am and 10am.
Detectives believe she potentially headed in the direction of the promenade and beach.
However, extensive searches have so far failed to find any trace of Ms Byrne.
Her family have said they are “shocked and distressed” by her disappearance.
Ms Byrne is around 5ft 6in with a medium build and short black hair.
When last seen she was wearing a black top, black jeans ripped at the knees and white trainers.
