Three people have been arrested after police in riot gear raided a property in Fife amid a disturbance in the area.
Officers carrying shields and wearing helmets attended a block of flats on Copeland Crescent, Cowdenbeath, at around 6am on Friday.
Several police vans and cars covered the area as part of the street was cordoned off.
Emergency services, including the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, were also in attendance.
There remained a high police presence at the scene more than four hours later, but the public have been assured that the incident is contained within the flat with no wider threat.
Police have since confirmed that two men and a woman have all been arrested in connection with the disturbance.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Two men and one woman have been arrested after officers were called to a disturbance within a property in the Copeland Crescent area of Cowdenbeath at around 6am on Friday.
“A number of resources attended as officers brought the incident to a safe conclusion. No-one was injured as a result.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
