Fire crews are in attendance after a blaze broke out in Edinburgh on Thursday afternoon.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) mobilised four appliances after reports of the fire near a building on Rose Street Lane in the city centre at 2.47pm on September 15.
It is understood that stores in the surrounding area including Primark and Hotel Chocolat were evacuated.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.47pm on Thursday, September 15 to reports of a fire near a building on Rose Street Lane, Edinburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and crews are still in attendance.”
