Police have launched a search for a man after a robbery attempt at a local shop in Falkirk.

Officers were called to a Premier Stores shop on Godfrey Avenue, Denny, on Friday, December 2.

A search has now been launched for a teenager who is described being between 5ft10in to 6ft in height and of a slim build.

When last seen he was wearing all black clothing and carrying a black bag.

Detective Sergeant Chris Scott, Falkirk CID said: “Officers are keen to trace a man described as being in his teens to early 20’s, between 5 ft 10 ins to 6 ft in height and of slim build.

“He was wearing all black clothing and carrying a black bag.

“I would urge anyone who has any information regarding this incident to contact police through 101 with reference number 3325 of December 2.

“Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
