The family of a woman missing from Edinburgh say they are increasingly worried after not hearing from her for over five days.

Tracy Milne, 46, disappeared around 11am in the Canonmills area of the city on Friday.

She was later reported missing to police on Tuesday after she failed to get in contact with anyone.

Police are viewing CCTV and speaking with her family and friends in connection to the search.

They have also asked anyone with information, or Tracy herself, to get in contact.

She is described as white, around 5ft 5in in height with a slim build and greying hair with a pink tint. It’s not known what Tracy was wearing when last seen.

Inspector Stephanie Garnett said: “Tracy’s family is understandably worried about her and we have become increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

“Everyone just wants to know Tracy is safe and well. I am asking anyone, who may have seen Tracy, or who has any information about her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 969 of April 24, 2023.”
