Police are appealing for information after a number of items of jewellery and a watch were stolen from a property in the Scottish Borders.

A property on Glen Road in Peebles is thought to have been broken into between Monday October 30 and Friday November 17.

Police said a number of items of jewellery were taken, including a watch.

Detective Constable Louise Begley said: “If you saw anybody suspicious within this time frame or have any information which could assist us, please get in touch.

“It is important we gather as much information as possible, and any small detail could prove vital.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1339 of November 9, 2023.

“Alternatively, you can pass your information to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
