Police were called to a bank in Edinburgh on Thursday after a ‘suspicious’ package was delivered to the premises.
Emergency services were called to the Lloyds Banking Group building in the Fountainbridge area of the city shortly after 12.30pm on July 11 following reports of the suspicious item.
The package was found to contain no harmful substance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024, police were advised a suspicious package had been delivered to a business premises on Fountainbridge in Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended
“Following examination the package was found to contain no harmful substance.”
