Singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini has announced a summer date in Edinburgh as his only Scottish show of the year.
Nutini will take to the stage in Edinburgh on August 31, at the city’s Royal Highland Showgrounds.
The New Shoes singer announced the new show on social media on Wednesday morning.
The 35-year-old last played in the capital at the O2 Academy on October 31 as part of his tour for his latest album, Last Night in the Bittersweet – which came after an eight-year hiatus.
Gigs in Scotland said: “Music fans have something spectacular to look forward to this August as renowned Scottish musician Paolo Nutini gears up to deliver an unforgettable headline performance, outdoors at Royal Highland Showgrounds, Edinburgh on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
“Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, July 28, at 10am.”
The singer will be supported by Inhaler and The Big Moon, who both recently played at Glasgow’s TRNSMT festival.
Gigs in Scotland added: “Hot from TRNSMT Festival, Inhaler and The Big Moon will join the bill at Royal Highland Showgrounds this August. Hailing from Dublin, Inhaler have recently released their second album, Cuts & Bruises, which reached number 1 in the Irish album charts.
“The Big Moon have had a very busy summer, supporting Paolo Nutini in Brighton, and festival sets at TRNSMT and Glastonbury.”
Tickets are to go on general sale at 10am on Friday, after the pre-sale which will begin at 9am on the same day.
