Police have launched an investigation after the “unexplained” death of a schoolgirl in East Lothian.
Officers were called to North Berwick Law on Monday evening after the sudden death of a 15-year-old.
Police Scotland said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said “Around 6.15pm on Monday, police were called to North Berwick Law area following the sudden death of a 15-year-old girl.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
