A murder suspect is to stand trial charged with a fatal knife attack on a man.
Dylan Curran, 24, is accused of killing Peter Mullen in Leith Street in Edinburgh on June 2 2023.
Prosecutors allege the 30-year-old was repeatedly struck on the body with a blade.
Curran is also charged with attempting to murder a second man with the knife on the same date and place.
Among other accusations Curran faces are that he attempted to defeat the ends of justice.
It includes claims that he tried to hide the weapon and two mobile phones said to have been used to communicate with others after the alleged attacks.
Curran’s legal team pleaded not guilty on his behalf during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Lady Stacey set a trial due to begin in February 2025.
