The mother of a missing Edinburgh man last seen almost a month ago has issued an emotional appeal for people to come forward with information about her son’s disappearance.
Stuart Campbell, 36, was last seen in the Barn Park area of the capital’s Wester Hailes at around 4pm on Tuesday, March 22.
Jane Campbell, his mother, on Monday urged people to get in touch with either her or the police if they have information about her son’s whereabouts.
She said: “If anyone has seen Stuart or knows where he is, can you please get in touch with me or the police?
“It’s been nearly four weeks now and we just want you home safe and well, Stuart. Please, please get in touch.”
Mr Campbell is described as being 5ft 10, with short, brown hair.
When last seen, he was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a green hooded top with white ties and grey jogging bottoms.
Chief inspector Mark Hamilton said: “I continue to ask the local community to tell us if you have any information that might help this inquiry.
“And that includes checking your gardens, checking your sheds, checking your dashcam footage. Do you have CCTV? Do you have a doorbell with video footage?
“Because that would be really important to our inquiry. No bit of information is too small and it might actually be the key to this inquiry.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact 101, quoting reference 1205 of March, 28, 2022.
