A man was rushed to hospital following an assault in Edinburgh city centre involving a cyclist.
Detectives are appealing to the public for information after the incident on Leamington Walk in the Meadows on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 3.10pm between a member of the public and a cyclist.
A 40-year-old man was rushed to hospital for treatment to injuries and was later released.
Detective constable Michael Campbell said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 2617 of June 17, 2023. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
