Man who died after being struck by car in early hours named

The 59-year-old was hit on the A915 Largo Road in Leven, Fife, around 2.20am on Sunday.

A pedestrian who died after being hit by a car in the early hours of the morning in Fife has been named.

Robert Walker was on the A915 Largo Road in Leven, when he was struck by the vehicle around 2.20am on Sunday.

The 59-year-old from Levenmouth was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 22-year-old man driving the car was not injured.

PC Wayne Allan said: “Our thoughts remain with the friends and family of Robert at this difficult time. 

“Our investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we would appeal to anyone who may have seen this crash to speak to officers.

“We are also appealing to anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV on their houses which may have caught the crash to let us know.”
