A man has been arrested and charged following the death of a pedestrian in an Edinburgh car crash last year.
Paul McGlade, 35, was hit in the collision on the city’s Colinton Road on Saturday, July 30 2022.
The incident occurred around 11.35am and involved a black Mercedes A Class car.
Mr McGlade, from Edinburgh, was rushed to hospital by emergency services with serious injuries.
However, he later died on Tuesday, August 2 last year.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that a 21-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection to the incident and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
