A man has been arrested and charged following an assault on board a bus in Edinburgh.
The assault unfolded on board a number 9 bus while it was at Inverleith Gardens in city around 4.20pm on December 9, 2023.
Police confirmed a 39-year-old man has been charged and arrested regarding the attack.
The man has been released on an undertaking and is expected to appear at court at a later date.
The arrest comes just days after police released CCTV images of a man they had wanted to speak to regarding the incident.
