Man charged after window smashed at Lib Dem headquarters

A brick was reportedly thrown through the window on Monday morning.

A man has been arrested and charged after a window was smashed at the Scottish Liberal Democrats’ headquarters in Edinburgh.

A brick was reportedly thrown through the window of the building on Clifton Terrace at around 11.30am on Monday.

A 27-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of vandalism at a premises on Clifton Terrace in Edinburgh.

“Officers attended and a 27-year-old man was arrested and charged. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
