Man charged after pedestrian taken to hospital from hit-and-run in Edinburgh

A man has been charged following investigations into a hit-and-run incident in Edinburgh.

Police confirmed a 25-year-old man was arrested in connection to the incident which occurred on Lochend Park on Sunday, April 2.

A pedestrian was hit by a car around 8.15pm and was taken to Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The man is due to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.

Police also confirmed a 21-year-old man was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection to the incident.
