A man has been arrested and charged after a woman’s handbag was snatched in broad daylight near Stirling Castle.
The incident occurred at around 10.20am on Friday, March 31, in the Upper Castlehill area.
A 27-year-old woman was walking when she was approached by a man who took her handbag.
On Sunday, police confirmed a 23-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and a number of other offences.
He is expected to appear at court on Monday.
