A man has been arrested after an Edinburgh street was shut down by police.
Officers were called to Caledonian Crescent in the city on Wednesday following reports of concern for a person.
The street was closed down for around two hours from 3.30pm and a number of police vans were called to the scene.
Officers later confirmed the arrest of a 50-year-old man in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, police were called to a report of concern for a person at a property on Caledonian Crescent, Edinburgh.
“A 50-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
