Man arrested after dog walker ‘racially abused and assaulted’

An arrest has been made in connection with an alleged racist attack in Fife.

A man has been arrested after a dog walker was allegedly racially abused and assaulted in Fife.

The 39-year-old has been charged over the incident on Boxing day in the Blairhall Area.

Police say a 55-year-old reported being racially abused and physically attacked near to the old railway bridge on Gallows Loan, known locally as the grange, at around 3.40pm on December 26.

A report will now be sent to the procurator fiscal.
