A man has been arrested in connection with a “brutal, sustained attack” on a 26-year-old woman in West Lothian.
Aimee Jane Cannon was found with a number of serious injuries at a property on Learmonth Crescent, West Calder, at around 6.35pm on Saturday, May 7.
Ms Cannon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed a 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged attack.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
