A man has appeared in court charged with raping an 83-year-old woman.
Kyle McKenzie, 21, is accused over an incident at an address in Meldrum Court, Glenrothes, Fife, in the early hours of June 25.
McKenzie, from Glenrothes, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with a serious sexual assault and theft by housebreaking.
He submitted no plea and was remanded in custody.
