A major road has been closed in both directions after a vehicle burst into flames in the Scottish Borders.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the A7 at Boleside has been closed in both directions due to the fire.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident around 3pm on Monday afternoon.
Police confirmed they are at the scene and assisting with traffic management.
It has not yet been confirmed whether anyone has been injured in the blaze.
Drivers have been advised to approach the road with care.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
