Police have launched an investigation to track down a man who approached a ten-year-old girl in a Fife park.
The schoolgirl was walking along a path between Bervie’s Brae and Johnston Park in Cowdenbeath on Saturday evening when she was accosted.
Officers are appealing for information to trace the man involved.
Sergeant John Weir said: “Around 9.10pm on Saturday, April 3, we received a report that a man approached a ten-year-old girl as she walked along a path between Bervie’s Brae and Johnston Park, Cowdenbeath, earlier in the evening.
“We understand the concern that this could cause local people and officers are currently carrying out enquiries to establish more information regarding this incident and trace the man involved.”
