A fourth person has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man following a shooting at a pub on Hogmanay.

Marc Webley, 38, was shot outside the Anchor Inn pub on Granton Crescent in Edinburgh on December 31 and died a short time later in hospital.

Another man, aged 39, was also injured in the shooting and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 20-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, February 2.

Grant Hunter, 32, and Emma McVie, 25, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, January 8 charged with murder.

The pair were also charged with the assault and attempted murder of the second man.

Both made no plea and were remanded in custody.

A 33-year-old woman was also arrested and charged in connection with the incident but was released pending further enquiries.
